We had the pleasure of capturing the essence of this breathtaking destination through a hero tourism video, complemented by subject-specific social cuts and an economic development film. From the rolling vineyards of the Granite Belt to the charming streets of Warwick and Stanthorpe, this campaign showcases the unique beauty and experiences that make the Southern Downs a must-visit destination.
Bringing this campaign to life meant immersing ourselves in the region’s diverse offerings, from sweeping natural landscapes to thriving local businesses. Working closely with Southern Downs Tourism, we developed a visual narrative that highlighted the region’s adventure, culture, and country hospitality. Our production took us across key locations, ensuring we captured the best of the Southern Downs—from misty mountaintops at sunrise to golden fields at dusk. The shoot was a mix of carefully planned setups and spontaneous moments that reflected the authentic charm of the area.
The hero video was designed to evoke a sense of exploration and connection, guiding viewers through the region’s natural beauty, gourmet food and wine scene, and rich history. Through cinematic drone footage, immersive close-ups, and dynamic motion shots, we captured the energy and serenity of the Southern Downs. Each social cut focused on a different aspect of the region, from agritourism to outdoor adventure, creating a tailored experience for varied audiences. The economic development video complemented the campaign by showcasing the region’s growth opportunities, further reinforcing the Southern Downs as a place to visit, live, and invest.
Post-production played a crucial role in crafting a cohesive and compelling campaign. The edit combined sweeping aerials, intimate local interactions, and dynamic pacing to reflect the essence of the Southern Downs. Colour grading enhanced the region’s natural tones, from deep greens of the farmlands to the warm hues of the vineyards, while an evocative soundtrack added to the sense of discovery. The campaign successfully positioned the Southern Downs as a premier tourism destination, driving engagement across social media and beyond.
