Apple Animations

Animated training to help Apple staff boost support and sales.

Created for Apple’s internal training program, this animated video series helps retail staff improve customer interactions and drive sales through clear, engaging storytelling. Designed with visual clarity and approachability in mind, the videos simplify key service techniques and scenarios, making them easy to absorb and apply on the job. With a sleek animation style aligned to Apple’s brand and a tone that’s both informative and friendly, the series offers a modern, effective approach to employee education.

This internal training project for Apple focused on creating a visually engaging and easy-to-follow animated video series designed to help employees improve customer interactions and boost in-store sales. Working closely with Apple’s learning and development team, we developed scripts that distilled complex service strategies into bite-sized, relatable scenarios. The tone was professional yet approachable, aiming to educate while keeping staff engaged. Visual development and style framing were also a key part of this phase, as we needed to create an animation style that aligned with Apple’s polished, modern brand.

Process

With clear objectives and style references in hand, our animation team got to work bringing the content to life. Each module was crafted to balance clarity with charm, using character animation, motion graphics, and clean UI-inspired layouts to support learning without overwhelming the viewer. Scenes were designed to reflect real customer service situations, allowing staff to visualise best practices through storytelling. The use of smooth transitions and subtle humour added rhythm and lightness to the educational content, keeping the tone human and friendly.

Execution & Impact

In post-production, we refined the pacing to maximise comprehension and retention. Music and voiceover were added to match Apple’s global tone calm, clear, and confident. The final videos are now used in Apple’s staff training platforms to onboard new employees and refresh best practices across retail locations. They’re a strong example of how animation can enhance internal learning, making abstract ideas feel simple, accessible, and easy to apply on the floor.
