Concept

For Lawpath’s video IPER developed a creative approach that not only delivered clear messaging but also played with the idea of the filmmaking process itself. Early planning focused on making the video feel conversational and approachable, while intentionally revealing elements of a film production within the narrative. The concept was designed to blur the line between finished content and behind the scenes moments, giving the film a self aware and authentic feel. A comfortable seated setup with two actors supported this approach, allowing the performance to feel relaxed while still feeling intentionally produced.

Process

Production took place on a comfy set that was styled to feel warm and inviting, while also allowing space to reveal the filmmaking environment. The two actors were filmed in a seated format, with live action driving the story and minimal graphics used only where they added clarity. Throughout the shoot we captured moments that showcased the production process itself, including behind the scenes elements that were intentionally woven into the final film. This approach helped reinforce the idea of transparency and craft, making the viewer feel included in the process rather than just observing the outcome.

Craft

In post production the edit leaned into the meta nature of the concept, blending polished live action with selected behind the scenes moments. The film was structured to feel like a production in motion, balancing narrative flow with subtle reveals of the filmmaking process. Minimal graphics and transitions were applied thoughtfully to support the message without distracting from the performances. Colour grading and sound design brought cohesion across both finished and behind the scenes footage, resulting in a confident, engaging film that feels both produced and human.

What we do
Alistair Grinham

We have used Iper for a number of different media outputs including showcasing our school’s research programs as well as advertising new courses. Throughout this process, Travis and his team have been highly professional in the script development, filming and final editing. Importantly the responses we have received from a diverse range of viewers has been very positive, I have no hesitation in recommending Iper for future work.

Anthony Beckhouse
Senior Manager, Product Marketing, Illumina

We have used IPER for a number of content creation projects for marketing purposes in our multinational company. I am so impressed by the communication, the quality, the professionalism and the speed in which the team finishes a project. Nothing is too difficult! I wouldn't look anywhere else now. Our customers that often appear in the video productions are also impressed with the team during filming.

Bec Stewart
Marketing & Administration Officer, Coolum State High School

Travis and the IPER crew were brilliant to work with. Not only did they produce an amazing product, they did so whilst directing approximately 100 teenagers, in multiple locations, over five long days of filming! Not an easy task! They steered our school project in a creative, emotive direction, and produced a video that told a story. Our video encompasses all of the particulars we needed it to, in a visually-beautiful style. Thank you IPER - we are extremely grateful for all your time and efforts.
